Retro gradient textures pulled from the airbrushed look of eighties print – hot pink into cyan, sunset banding and the slightly coarse grain of period reproduction.

The banding is deliberate here rather than a fault. Period gradients stepped visibly, and reproducing that stepping is what makes these read as authentically retro.
